What’s the Boppy Advantage?
Doing a brand audit on Boppy there are two things I’ve learned.
Prizm Segmentation shows Millennials are aging out of our core market.
2. The competition is greater than ever. Some see that as a bad thing.
But it’s actually an amazing opportunity.
We could play tit-for-tat with other brands on price, (Leachco, Momcozy) ergonomics (My Brest Friend, Ergobaby) or sustainability
(Snuggle Me Organic, DockATot). Or just like Xerox and Kleenex we could be the nouns for our category. And have a new strong position statement that no other brand in the category can own.

Boppy Shower
The idea: Let’s create a simple video series of expecting Mom’s at their baby showers. Surrounded by family, friends and co-workers. She opens gift after gift turns a blind eye to the cheap onesies. The hideous coat. The obvious re-gift. But when she finally opens what she thinks is a Boppy and she realizes it isn’t a Boppy. She reins hell on how her shower.
This new theme line can be an anthem across all of our work to build awareness and take back mindshare of the Boppy Brand.
Momzilla Influence
The idea: To reach younger Millennials and Gen Z - let’s tap into Influencers with tips on how NOT to make a Momzilla. Don’t skimp on a nursing pillow. Get Boppy. Make Momma happy.
As we build awareness, we will continue to work with influencers to re-remind a younger generation the equity the Boppy Brand has in the hearts and minds of expecting Moms.
The idea: Some babies bark. Let’s come up with a line of Boppy Pillows and Wraps that work for Mom’s who make their baby’s fetch.
Expand Our Influence
The idea: To reach younger Millennials and Gen Z -let’s partner with world-renown artist to create limited run drops of Boppy Covers.
