Challenge: Executive Orders close Native Colleges and end degree programs for Native Students
Opportunity: We created a campaign that showcases real Native Students that’s deeply rooted in Native American culture. The Tradition of Emulating the Bison— rather than running away from approaching storms, bison charge directly at them. This embodies values of fearlessness and resilience, encouraging us to confront challenges head-on
instead of retreating.
Only 14% of Native Americans have a college degree. The lowest of any people group in America. To help raise awareness and show the many obstacles Native Americans face, we created an installation inside the Mall of America. This maze, full of dead ends and setbacks, represents the journey that many Native students go through to earn a degree.
